let a positive integer be x

and a negative integer be y

According to the question:

x-y=4

if positive value of x be 2 i.e. x=2, then

2-y=4

=> y= -(4-2) = -2

hence, 2 and -2 are desired integers.

you can also take 1 as x i.e. x=1, then

1-y=4

=> y= -(4-1) = -3

hence, 1 and -3 are desired integers.

you can take any positive value of x and will get the corresponding value of y.
