A positive integer is twice another. The sum of the reciprocals of the two positive integers is 3/10 (fraction 3 over 10) Find the two integers.

Let the integer be x

Second integer 2x

Their reciprocal are 1/x & 1/2x

Sum of reciprocals = 3/10

(1/x)+(1/2x) = 3/10

(2+1)/2x =3/10

3/2x = 3/10

2x = 10

x = 5

So, One integer (x) = 5

Another integer (2x) = 5×2 = 10

Verification:-

1/5 + 1/10

=( 2+1)/10

= 3/10
