Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

Let us Assume That, Smaller Positive Number is = x

Than, Greater Number among two = 5 Times of Smaller = 5*x = 5x

Now, it is Given That, when 21 is added to both the numbers, then one of the new number becomes twice the other new number.

So,

→ Smaller number now = (x + 21)

→ Greater Number now = (5x + 21)

And,

Greater Number = 2 Times of Smaller Number

→ (5x + 21) = 2(x + 21)

→ 5x + 21 = 2x + 42

→ 5x - 2x = 42 - 21

→ 3x = 21

Dividing Both sides by 7,

→ x = 7 .

Hence,

Smaller Number = x = 7 (Ans).

→ Larger Number Among two = 5x = 5*7 = 35 (Ans).

Therefore, The Required Two Numbers are 7 & 35.

5x + 21=2x + 42

5x - 2x = 42-21

3x = 21

x= 21/3= 7

5×7= 35

Hope if helps you.❤️
