Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the second number be x.

⇒The first number = 5x

When 10 is added to both the numbers -

The first number = 5x + 10

The second number = x + 10

Now,

       5x + 10 = 3(x + 10)

                    = 3x + 30

       5x - 3x = 30 - 10

              2x = 20

                x = 20/2

                   = 10

Therefore,

                The first number = 5x

                                             = 5(10)

                                             = 50

                The second number = x

                                                   = 10

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Positive number is added 5 times

Therefore it will be a odd number with positive sign (+)

Now it says 10 is added

Therefore y+y+y+y+y=5y

If 10 is added meaning 5y+10
