A positive number is 5 times another number. If 21 is added to both the numbers then one of the new numbers become twice of other new number. Find the original number? Help me by solving this question pls!! I'll mark brainleist

Hhhheeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyy hope this helps:

let the number be x

and let the second number be 5x

if 21 is added to both, x+21, 5x+21

then 5x + 21 = 2 (x+ 21)

5x + 21 = 2x + 42

5x -2x +21 = 42

5x-2x= 42-21

3x = 21

x=  21/3

x= 7

5x= 7 x 5 = 35

therefore the original numbers are 7 and 35

let the 1st number be x

let the another number be 5x

5x + 21 = x + 21 (×2)

5x + 21 = 2x + 42

3x = 21

x = 21/3

x = 7

therefore the 1st number is x= 7 and the another number is 5 × 7 = 35.
