Let the 2 numbers be x and 5x.
If 21 is added to both,the numbers become 21+x and 21 + 5x
So a/q
21+5x=2(21+x)
21+5x=42+2x
5x-2x=42-21
3x=21
x=21/3
x=7
Now,the numbers are x=7 and 5x=35
