x-4=21×1/x
x-4=21/x
x^2-4x=21
x^2-4x-21=0
x^2+3x-7x-21=0
x (x+3)-7 (x+3)=0
(x-7)(x+3)=0
x-7=0 (or) x+3=0
x=7 (or) x=-3

Therefore x=7 since -3 is an negative integer
