a positively charged glass rod is brought near an uncharged pith ball. what happens to the pith ball?

The pith ball becomes electrically charged ! = +ve because positively charged rod takes electrons from it

Electrons from the negatively charged glass rod gets transferred to the neutral pith ball......... And hence,the ball gets negatively charged because the no. of electron is now more than that of protons in the ball
