The positively charged particle is projected towards west, therefore the direction of current is towards west by the conventional direction of current.

By Fleming's Left Hand Rule, the middle finger points towards direction of current(West), thumb points in the direction of motion of particle(North), then the fore finger will point in the direction of magnetic field(Upwards). Thus, the direction of magnetic field is in 'Upward direction'.
