Answer:

Area of Margin = 75 cm²

0.04875 Rs

= 4.875 Paise

Step-by-step explanation:

Poster size = 12 & 10 cm

Poster Area = 12 * 10 = 120 cm²

Card board Length  = 12 + 1.5 + 1.5 = 15cm

Cardboard Width  = 10 + 1.5 + 1.5 = 13cm

Cardboard Area  = 15 * 13 = 195 cm²

Area of Margin = Cardboard Area - Poster Area

Area of Margin = 195 - 120 = 75 cm²

Card board used = 195 cm²

Card board used = 195/10000 m² ( 1 cm = 1/100 m  & 1 cm²=1/10000 m²)

Rate of cardboard = 2.5 Rs/m²

Cost of cardboard = (195/10000) * 2.5

= 0.04875 Rs

= 4.875 Paise

\textbf{\huge{ANSWER:}}

Size of the poster = 12 cm × 10 cm

Area of the poster = 120 cm^{2}

Dimensions of the cardboard = 12 + 1.5 + 1.5 ( cm ) = 15 cm

And the other dimensions of the cardboard = 10 + 1.5 + 1.5 ( cm ) = 13 cm

Size of the cardboard = 15 cm × 13 cm

Area of the cardboard = 195 cm^{2}

Area of the \tt{margin} = 195 - 120 ( cm^{2} )

Area of the margin =》 75 cm^{2}

Cost of the Cardboard = Rs. 2.5 per m^{2}

Area of the cardboard = 195 cm^{2}

In m^{2}, the value turns out to be = \frac{195}{10000}\\

The Cost of the area of the cardboard = \frac{195}{10000}\times2.5\\

The Cost turns out to be =》 \tt{Rs\:0.04875}
