a potential difference of 20 ohms has a current of 2 ampere is flowing in it and so what potential difference is there between it its ends?

Mmmmmmm Error... Potential Difference cannot be Measured as "Ohms" and as far as the true question is considered :

Resistance given = 20ohms
Current = 2A
=> Potential Difference = 2 * 20 volts = 40 V
