R = V/I = 220/ 5 = 44 ohm ..

sayantanking: thanxs!!!
sayantanking: can u answer anather one? ... if i is the current flowing through a resistance r and v is the voltage across it, then acording to owm,s law what will be the formula?
PSRakesh: V = IR
sayantanking: ohh thanx!!
PSRakesh: R is the resistance
sayantanking: thankyu

\large{amswer}

220volt is applied across am electric heater

then

current flowing through the heater is 5A

then resistance of the heating element is

r =  \frac{p}{c}

r =  \frac{220v}{5a}

r = 44ohm
