A potted plant is kept in light for a day and one of its leaves is tested for starch. The same plant is kept in dark for two days and another leaf is tested for starch.will there be difference in the results of two experiments give reasons for u r answers

1.In first experiment, the leaf turned into blue black.
2But in second experiment leaf doesnot changes into blue black,because it is a destrached leaf

yes,because the process of photosynthesis is occurs only in the presence of sunlight.The process of photosynthesis cannot takes place in darkness hence the leaf cannot produce their food in the form of starch
