Step-by-step explanation:

m = 12 (Favorable Outcomes)

n = 16 (Total Outcomes)

Probability = m/n

                  = 12/16

                  = 3/4

May the answer helps you!!!

Answer:

Since, total no. of balls = 5+7+4+2 = 18

(i) No. of balls that are white or blue = 5+2 = 7

∴ Required probability =

18

7

(ii) No. of balls that are red or black = 7+4 = 11

∴ Required probability =

18

11

(iii) No. of balls that are not white = 7+4+2 = 13

∴ Required probability =

18

13

(iv) No. of balls that are neither white nor black = 7+2 = 9

∴ Required probability =

18

9

=

2
