The maximum ratio of commercial fertilizer to humus in in3/per pound would be 20 in3/pound / 40 in3/pound = 0.5 since 25 in3/pound /55 in3/pound = 0.45454545 or around 0.46 which is a smaller ratio , so we should consider ratio of 0.5 .Now 1 tonne of commercial fertilizer is selected along with 1 tonne of humus with ratio of 20 in3/lb and 40 in3 / lb respectively , totalling 2 tonnes loaded in to the truck , where 1 metric tonne = 2204.62262 lbs , so with this the ratio of commercial fertilizer to humus in in3 = 2204 .62262 lb/mt x 20 in3/lb/2204.62262lb/mt x 40 in3/lb= 0.50
