LOAD VOLTAGE

The capacity of a power supply to maintain a constant voltage output despite fluctuations or variability in the input load is referred to as load voltage regulation.

EXPLANATION :

FORMULA USED =

LOAD REGULATION ( percent ) = 100 X ( VOLTAGE NO LOAD - VOLTAGE FULL LOAD ) / VOLTAGE FULL LOAD

Load regulation ( percent ) = 2 %

voltage no load = 40 volts

voltage full load = unknown = v ( assume)

Substituting the values in the formula,

2% = 100 X ( 40- v ) / v

2v = 100 X ( 40 - v)

2v = 4000 - 100v

2v + 100v = 4000

102v = 4000

4000/102 = v

v = 39.2

VOLTAGE FULL LOAD = 39.2 VOLTS
