A power trailer was bought for rs. 1,44,000 getting 10% discount . What would be it's price , if the discount was 8%

Suppose marked price is x

then x-0. 1x= 144000

0.9x= 144000

x= 160000

now 8 percentage of discount = 160000*8/100

12800

160000-12800=

147200rupees
