A powerful motorcycle can accelerate from rest to 28 m/s in 4 seconds. What is its average acceleration? How far does it travel in that time?​

Given,

Starting Velocity u = 0 \frac{m}{s}

Each Velocity v = 28 \frac{m}{s} in time t = 4 sec.

If acceleration = f

v= u+ft , 28= 0+ f × 4 , f = \frac{28}{4} = 7 \frac{m}{s²}

Acceleration = \frac{7m}{sec²}

If distance travelled = S

S = ut + \frac{1}{2ft²} = 0 × 4 + ( \frac{1}{2} ) × 7 × 4² = 56 m

Distance travelled in 4 sec = 56 m
