A pregnant human female was advised to undergo MTP. It was diagnosed by her doctor that the foetus she is carrying has developed from a zygote formed by an XX-egg fertilised by Y-carrying sperm. Why was she advised to undergo MTP?

An XX egg is fertilised by Y sperm which produces a child having 44 autosomes with XXY sex chromosomes, which means that the child is suffering from klinefelter's syndrome.
That is why doctor suggested her fir MTP.

The pregnant woman is advised by doctor to undergo MTP.  It refers to the process of abortion or Termination of Pregnancy.

It is because XX egg is actually fertilised by the Y sperm. It produces a baby having forty four autosomes with the XXY sex chromosomes.

It means that the foetus carries the abnormal count of chromosomes and hence doctor advised the women to take MTP.
