Answer:

Given :

\textsf{Present age of Ramu 's father is three times of Ramu}

\textsf{After 5 years sum of their age is 70 years}

To find :

\textsf{Their present age }

Concept :

Let the age of Ramu be x

And let the age of Ramu 's father be 3x

So , after 5 years the the sum of their age is 70 years . So , the equation will like this:

\sf\boxed{x+5+3x+5=70}

Here x+5 is the age of the Ramu

And 3x+5 is the age of the Ramu 's father

The 70 is the sum of ages of Ramu and Ramu 's father after 5 years .

Solution :

\sf:\implies{x+5+3x+5=70}

\sf:\implies{x+3x+5+5=70}

\sf:\implies{4x+10=70}

\sf:\implies{4x=70-10}

\sf:\implies{4x=60}

\sf:\implies{x=\dfrac{60}{4}}

\sf:\implies{x=15\:years}

So , the age of Ramu is 15 years .

Age of Ramu 's father is :

\sf:\implies{Age\:of\:Ramu\:'s\:father=15\:years\times3}

\sf:\implies{Age\:of\:Ramu\:'s\:father=45\:years}

Answer :

So , the age of Ramu is 15 years .

And the age of Ramu 's father is 45 years .
