pressure =  \frac{force}{area}
here, force is applied by the weight of the block..

force = mg , where g - acceleration due to gravity
area = 15 sq-cm = 0.0015 sq-m
pressure = 100 Pa
g = 10 m/sq-sec

so, force = pressure x area

=> mg = 100 x 0.0015 = 0.15
=> m = 0.15 / 10 = 0.015 kg = 15 g ...

Answer:

pressure = \frac{force}{area}pressure=

area

force

here, force is applied by the weight of the block..

force = mg , where g - acceleration due to gravity

area = 15 sq-cm = 0.0015 sq-m

pressure = 100 Pa

g = 10 m/sq-sec

so, force = pressure x area

=> mg = 100 x 0.0015 = 0.15

=> m = 0.15 / 10 = 0.015 kg = 15 g ...
