The printing press takes 90 minutes to print 105 dictionaries.

In 1 minutes , it will print 105/90 dictionaries

In 240 minutes it will print : 105/90 × 240

                                             = 105/9 × 24

                                             = 105/3 × 8

                                             = 35 × 8

                                             = 280

280 dictionaries is the answer

The cost of one dictionary : number of pages = 3 : 1

According to the problem :

==> Cost of 280 dictionaries : 280= 3:1

==> Cost of 280 dictionaries = 3/1 × 280

                                                = 840

The total cost is 840 units [ depends on any currency ]
