A private taxi company charges a fixed charge along with a kilometer charge based on the distance covered.For a journey of 24 km the charges paid are Rs368 and for a journey of 32 km the charges paid Rs 464.How much will a person have to pay for travelling a distance of 15 km​

Let fixed charge be x for 1st km and then y for every km. Then eqns are

368=x+(24-1)y 368=x+23y

464=x+(32-1)y 464=x+31y

By solving these two equations, You will get

y=12 and x=92

For 15 km charge= x+(15-1)y

=92+14×12=260 Rs
