If he chooses the first as lead
he can choose any one of the five as supporting
So, there are 5 possibilities.
The same will be there if any one of rest of the five candidates are chosen to be the lead.
So, the total no. of possibilities are 5 x 6 = 30

Answer:

30

Step-by-step explanation:

For the first one: 6!/(6-2)! = 6x5 = 30 Use formula n!/(n-r)! for permutations that involve ordering.
