Solution :-

Profit = Rs. 960

  A  :  B  =  1/3  :  1/2

Taking L.C.M. of the denominators and then solving it.

    1/3   : 1/2
(6/3)*1 : (6/2)*1
___________
          6

2 : 3

A's share is 2 and B's share is 3

Sum of the ratios = 2 + 3 = 5

Now,

A's share in profit = (2*960)/5

= 1920/5

= Rs. 384

B's share in profit = (3*960)/5

= 2880/5

= Rs. 576

Difference between their profit = 576 - 384 = Rs. 192
