Corrosion: It is the process in which metals are slowly eaten up by the action of air moisture or chemicals. For example rusting is a form of corrosion in which iron is eaten up by the action of air and moisture and a reddish brown coating of iron oxide is formed . Rancidity: When the substance containing oils and fats are exposed to air they get oxidised and become rancid due to which their smell, taste and colour change. This process is known as rancidity. For example when a when butter is kept open for a long time then its smell and taste gets changed.

Rancidity is the arial oxidation of fatty food. To prevent it Nitrogen flushing, air tight packing, vacuum packing. In this there is a foul smell or bad taste coming from the food. On other page u can put pictures of fatty food. Corrosion is the process by which something deteriorates because of oxidation, a chemical action that creates oxides that flake away from the base. When you see a rusty, shoddy looking car, corrosion is the culprit. Although the word is most often associated with the physical breakdown of a metal through rusting, the erosion of rock by wind and water is a form of corrosion. The word can also be applied to other situations, like the corrosion of a once-strong friendship. There could be corrosion of relations between two countries. Whenever something's being worn down or eaten away, you can call it corrosion. Put pics on other page of corrosion. If helpful plzz brainliest.
