A projectile can have same range for 2 angles​ of projection . If times of flights in this cases​ are t1 and t2 then the velocity of projection of the projectile

Here in this case as the angles of projection are same the velocity will be same for both projectile. And because of that when you assume one angle alpha so other would be 90 – alpha.

This would be resulting in same velocity.
