Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

s = 400 m

◆ Explanation -

Maximum range is obtained at 45° angle of production.

Rmax = u^2 / g

400 = u^2 / 10

u^2 = 4000

u = 20√10 m/s

Acceleration along inclined plane is -

a = -gsinθ

a = -10 × sin30°

a = -10 × 1/2

a = -5 m/s^2

Let s be distance travelled by projectile on inclined plane.

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

0^2 = 4000 + 2×(-5)×s

s = 4000 / 100

s = 400 m

Therefore, distance travelled by projectile on inclined plane is 400 m.

Thanks dear...

Answer:

Maximum range is obtained at 45° angle of projection.

• Rmax = u² / g

• 400 = u² / 10

• u² = 4000

• u = 20√10 m/s

Acceleration along inclined plane is

a = -gsinθ

• a = -10 × sin30°

• a = -10 × 1/2

• a = -5 m/s²

Let s be distance travelled by projectile on inclined plane.

• v² = u² + 2as

• 0² = 4000 + 2×(-5)×s

• s = 4000 / 100

• s = 400 m

Final Answer:-

• Distance travelled by projectile on inclined plane is 400 m.
