Given -
- initial velocity , u = 40 m/s
- angle of projection , ⊖ = 30°
To Find -
maximum height reached
= ( u² sin²⊖ ) / 2g
= ( 40² sin²30° ) / 2(10)
= [ (40)² × (1/2)² ] / 20
= ( 1600 × 1/4 ) / 20
= 400 / 20
= 20 metres
