Uy= usin30° = 19.6×1/2 =9.8 m / sec

vertical component of vel just after 1 sec

v = u-gt

= 9.8-9.8×1= 0 m/sec

if Vy = 4.9 m/sec

=> 4.9 = 9.8 - 9.8×t

=> -4.9 = -9.8t

=> t = 0.5 sec

this shows the vertical comp of velocity

when 4.9 m/ sec , the time is just after 1.5 sec .

generally say after one sec.
