Answer: 4 seconds

Explanation: Displacement in y direction (Sy) = 80m

Acceleration in y direction (Ay) = 10 m/s2

Initial Velocity in y direction = zero

Sy = Uy*t + 1/2*a*t2

80 = 0 + 5*t2

16 = t2

4 = t

Answer:

We have given displacement in y direction as 80 metres

Acceleration in y direction = 10 m/s²

Velocity = 0 in y

80= 1/2 * 10*t²

t=+4 or -4

as time is always positive hence

time is 4 seconds
