Explanation:

We have given displacement in y direction as 80 metres

Acceleration in y direction = 10 m/s²

Velocity = 0 in y

80= 1/2 * 10*t²

t=+4 or -4

as time is always positive hence

time is 4 seconds

time = distance/ speed

=80/45.4

=1.76 seconds
