Answer:

Explanation:

R=2u^2 sin2(theta)/g----------1

H=u^2sin^2(theta)/2g---------2

Divide 2 and 1

H/R=tan(theta)/4

Range is maximum when theta =45°

Putting values of H and theta

25/R=1/4. [Tan 45= 1]

Cross multiply

R=100

Given,

For a projectile motion maximum height = 25m.

To Find,

Maximum range of the projectile.

Solution,

We know that when a object is in a projectile motion to calculate maximum height we have the formula that,

H=u²/2g

Using this formula now we calculate the speed of the object

⇒u²=25×2g

⇒u²=500(∵g=10 m/s²)

For maximum range of the projectile there is the formula,

R=u²/g

So we can find out the value of R by putting the value of u² and g.

R=500/10

R=50m

Hence, the maximum range of the projectile is 50m.
