using  v^{2} = u^{2} + 2gh we can find the velocity with which it hits the ground

v^{2}  = 0 + 2*10*10

v^{2}  = 200\\v = 10\sqrt{2} m/s

now time taken can be found using

v = u + at

10\sqrt{2}  = 0 + 10t

t = \sqrt{2} s

so distance travelled horizontally = speed * time

                                                       =  21 * \sqrt{2} \\ m

                                                         = 21\sqrt{2} m
