b = 2a

Explanation:

As we know,

R = 2H

\frac{u^{2}sin2∅}{g} = 2 \frac{u^{2} sin^{2}∅ }{2g}

2sin∅.cos∅ = sin^{2}

tan ∅ = 2                   ... (equation 1)

The projectile velocity is calculated using,

v = ai + bj

tan ∅ = b/a          ...(equation 2)

By solving equation (1) and equation (2), we get

b/a = 2

so, b = 2a i.e. option C is the correct answer.
