“The Right to Represent gives the Recruiter the EXCLUSIVE RIGHT to represent you to a given company for the purposes of a job. After you sign this, that company now acts as your personal agent with that given company for a certain period of time”.

Answer:

Consumer Rights- Right to Represent

Explanation:

Jacinda applied for a two-year course at a coaching institute. She paid a total of 98,000 rupees when she joined. At the end of the first year she decided to opt out of the course since the teaching wasn’t up to the mark. She asked the  authorities of the coaching institute for a refund but it was denied to her. She appealed to the district consumer court which gave the verdict in favour of the institute and dismissed her case. She then appealed to the state- level court The state level consumer court also dismissed her case. Then, she appealed to the national level consumer court which gave the verdict in Jacinda’s favour and directed the institute to refund 45,000 Rs, saying that she had the right to choose.

Here we see that Jacinda had the right to represent in the state and then the national level consumer courts when the district level consumer court had not given the verdict in her favour
