Answer:

we have given that

If the sale price of property = Rs. 300000

Rate of commission = 2%

Amount of commission is given by

\begin{gathered}\frac{2}{100}\times 300000\\\\=Rs. 6000\end{gathered}

100

2

×300000

=Rs.6000

Now, If the sale price of property = Rs. 450000

Rate of commission on remaining amount = 1.5%

So, Remaining amount is given by

\begin{gathered}450000-300000\\\\=150000\end{gathered}

450000−300000

=150000

Amount of commission will be

\begin{gathered}\frac{1.5}{100}\times 150000\\\\=Rs.2250\end{gathered}

100

1.5

×150000

=Rs.2250

So, Total broker's commission is given by

\begin{gathered}2250+6000\\\\=Rs. 8250\end{gathered}

2250+6000

=Rs.8250
