\mathbb{SOLUTION}:

Let, the value of flat be ₹\bf{ a} before the commission.

So,
According to the question,
Mr. Ram All paid ₹ 20000 as a commission for the purchasing of flat.

2% of ₹ \bf{a} = ₹ 20000

=> \frac{2}{100} × \bf{a} = 20000

=>2\bf{a} = 20000 × 100

=> 2\bf{a} = 2000000

=> \bf{a} = \frac{2000000}{2}

=> \bf{a} = 1000000

Hence, the value of the flat before the commission was ₹ \bf{10,00,000}

let the value of flat be x
A/Q
2% OF X = 20000
2/100 *X = 20000
X = 20000*100 /2
