A property developer bought a land in the form of a rectangle 75 m X 300 m.

After leaving aside 2500 square metres of this land for building internal roads, he

divided the land into housing plots of 400 sq m each. How many such plots can

area of the plot =l×b

75×300=22500m²

area of roads=2500m²

area apart from roads=22500-2500=20000m²

area of each housing plot=400m²

no of housing plots=20000/400=50
