Ratio = 3 : 4 : 7

Define x:

Let x be the constant ratio

Ratio = 3x : 4x : 7x

Form equation and solve x:

3x + 4x + 7x = 280,000

14x = 280,000

x = Rs 20,000

Find each share:

3x = 3(20,000) = Rs 60,000

4x = 4(20,000) = Rs 80,000

7x = 7(20,000) = Rs 140,000

Answer: The shares are Rs 60,000, Rs 80,000 and Rs 140,000

Totally Property worth=)280,000

Shared in to 3 terms=3:4:7

Let to be terms "a'

Sum of Number=totally money (Property)

3a+4a+7a=280,000

14a=280,000

a=280,000/14

a=20,000

Now...

Divided into their Parts...

3a=)3×20,000
=)60,000

4a=)4×20,000
=)80,000

7a=)7×20,000

=)140,000
