A proportion sets two ratios that is equal to each other.
EX. if you have an input and a output remember the input will always be x and the output will be y so lets say you have x the y would be
1 3
2 6
3 9
4 12
3x1= 3
3x2=6
3x3=9
3x4-12
So the proportion always equals a number that can be used in anyway hope this helps rate what ever you like. :)
