Answer:

1. William Wordsworth

2. The poet was delighted to see a host of golden daffodils on the side of the lake under the trees moving their heads in a joyful dance . They appeared to dance like a human being sharing their energy and joy. When the poet saw the flowers, his imagination flew to a distant world to find a comparison. He was reminded that the stars were twinkling in a milky way at night. The long line of the flowers of the daffodils bore a comparison with the bright stars seen in the night sky.

3. A veterinarian (vet), also known as a veterinary surgeon or veterinary physician, is a professional who practices veterinary medicine by treating diseases, disorders, and injuries in non-human animals.

Dear friend,

Today I will tell you about the qualities of Kali .

Kali hates school. And school hates him, he thinks, for he has no friends. The children there find him strange. He wishes his father were an ‘ordinary' bus-conductor or postman instead of a snake-catcher, even if one of the most celebrated in the Irula tribe. He worries that others will see him eating fried termites (his favorite snack!) and laugh. And then one day, a large rat snake creates havoc in the classroom . . . and Kali becomes a hero! A simple, sensitive story crafted by a writer deeply involved with environmental issues. Zai Whitaker works closely with the Irulas, and her empathy with them is as evident in this book as it was with the Jarawa's in Andamans Boy, also published by Tulika. The watercolor illustrations are evocative and detailed, suffusing the story with many hues of mood.

Your faithfully

Purva
