A proton is projected with a speed of 6 3 10 m / s  horizontally from east to west. A uniform magnetic field ‘B’ of strength 3 2 10 T   exists in the vertically upward direction the magnitude of magnetic force on proton is 16 F 10 N   . What is the value of F?

At this speed, relativistic effect can be ignored (v is c/10). Force felt is q v X B. Hence acceleration is  (qvB)/m. The angle between v and B is 90° here.
