A publisher gave 20 percentage as a discount and he gets 25 percentage income. If he decreases the discount as 15 percentage means find out the income of the publisher​

Let his income be

After giving discount of 20% his income become

25% means 25% of 100 = 25 .

After decrease in discount to 15% his income will be =

Giving 20% discount the income is 25

Giving 1% discount the income will be 25/20%

Therefore, Giving 15% discount the income will be 25/20%*15% = 25/20*15 = 5/4*15 = 75/4
