Explanation:

300 kg of water raised

density of water  ρ = 1000 kg / m³

volume of water raised = 300/1000 = 0.3 m³

time taken to raise above calculated volume = 5 min =  5*60   =300 sec

Volumetric flow Rate (Q)= 0.3 m³ / 300sec

                                   = 0.001 m³sec⁻¹

power rating of  pump = ρ g h Q / η

η is effeciency.

                             = 1000 *10*25*0.001/0.8

                           = 312.5 w
