Given,

m=1000kg

t=1min=60sec

h=10m

v=10m/s

g=10m/s2

Power, P=tmgh+21mv2

P=601000×10×10+21×1000×10×10

P=60100000+50000=60150000=2500W

As we know that, 1horse−power=746Watt

1W=7461horse−power

2500W=7462500=3.25HP
