Answer:

10

Step-by-step explanation:

As per the question,

Let the common ratio be = x

Therefore,

Number of 5 rupees notes = 3x

Number of 10 rupees notes = 7x

Number of 50 rupees notes = 5x

Total number of notes = 225

∴ 3x + 7x + 5x = 225

⇒ 15x = 225

⇒ x = 15

Therefore,

Number of 5 rupees notes = 3x = 45

Number of 10 rupees notes = 7x = 105

Number of 50 rupees notes = 5x = 75

Now,

Total money = 5 × 45 + 10 × 105 + 50 × 75 = 5025

Out of this,  25 is spent, that is left money is

Left out money = 5025 - 25 = 5000

Let the number of 500 rupees notes = y

∴ 500 × y = 5000

⇒ y = 10

Hence, the number of 500 rupees currency notes is = 10
