let the no. of coins of 1 rupee be x
According to the condition,

0.5(x+2)+1(x)+0.25(x+2+1) = 10.5

0.5x+1+×+0.25x+0.5+0.25 = 10.5

1.75x+1.75 = 10.5

1.75x = 10.5/1.75

1.75x = 2.1/0.35

x = 2.1/0.35×1.75

x = 21×175×100/10×100×35

x = 21/2

x = 10.5
