The number of coins of 50 paise is =28

the number of coins of of Re. 1  is =72

and the number of coins of Rs.5 is =96

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

A purse contains rupees 1800 in terms of 50 paise ,Rs 1 and Rs 5 coins in the ratio 2:3:4

Let the number of coins of 50 paise = 2 x

the number of coins of of Re. 1 = 3x

and the number of coins of Rs.5 =4x

According to problem

(2x \times .50) +(3x \times 1)+(4x \times 5) = 1800

1 x +3x+20x=1800

⇔24x = 1800

x= \frac{1800}{24}

⇔x = 24

Therefore the number of coin of 50 paise is = 2×24 =28

the number of coins of of Re. 1  is =3×24 =72

and the number of coins of Rs.5 is =4× 24=96
