let the number of 25paise coins be 'x' and that of 50 paise coins be 'y'.
25paise= 1/4 rupee &50 paise = 1/2rupee.
By given data,
1/4 (x)+ 1/2 (y) =25 ------------------(1)
&
y=2x ---------------------------------(2)
on substituting (2) in (1),
1/4 (x) + 1/2 (2x) =25
1/4 (x) +x =25
5x/4 =25
5x =100
x=20.
But y=2x
y= 2(20)
y=40.
The no. of 25 paise coins is 20 and the no. of 50 paise coins is 40.
25paise= 1/4 rupee &50 paise = 1/2rupee.
By given data,
1/4 (x)+ 1/2 (y) =25 ------------------(1)

y= 2(20)
y=40.
The no. of 25 paise coins is 20 and the no. of 50 paise coins is 40.
